Dog Clothes

Dog clothes exist for fun as well as for practical applications. It is very common for people to view clothing for dogs as completely unnatural. In fact, it is in many ways. However, bringing dogs into the human realm has also been unnatural.

For this reason, dog clothes can be very useful in fixing unnatural situations. The most common practical uses of such items relate to climate and temperature. Some pets are living within colder environments than for which their fur is suited. Under those circumstances, clothing may be necessary to keep the animal warm.

In very sunny areas, dog clothes can serve to protect animals from the sun. This usually only necessary if the animal has been shaved or is experiencing fur loss for some other reason.

At other times, the clothing items may allow a dog play outdoors without being excessively muddy while coming indoors. Some breeds, such as Shih Tzus, may have warm enough fur to deal with snow. However, the snow can often get far too clumped within their fur for easy removal. In these situations, a coat can allow the pet to play outdoors without needing a warm bath every time it comes back inside.
